Vision: Braveheart Community Church exists to make Jesus Christ known through being His hands and feet in our community and beyond.

Purpose: Identifying and meeting the physical needs of our local community, while earning the right to speak to their spiritual needs.

Mission: Our passion is to see heartaches turn to hope, for orphans to find a family, for those far from God to experience His presence, and for believers to live a life of bravery through the power of God.

What We Believe

About the Scriptures
The Bible is God's Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 1:13, Proverbs 30:5

About the One True God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: The Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, I Peter 1:2, II Corinthians 13:14

About the Son (Jesus)
Jesus Christ is the virgin-born Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus has eternally existed. He lived a sinless life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He bodily arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5 & 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, I Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13

About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
II Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13 & 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12 & 3:16

About Creation
We believe that God created the heavens and earth. God is also the author of life. Since God created mankind in His image, a living soul, we believe that human life is sacred, a divine gift. Life is a gift of God and must be respected from conception until natural death.
Genesis 1:1, Psalms 139:13-14, Hebrews 3:4, Psalms 121:1-2, Romans 1:20

About the Fall of Man
Man is made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." This attitude separates man from God.
Genesis 3:4-7, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Ezekiel 18:4

About Salvation
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can
anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one received Jesus Christ into his life by faith. And we are eternally secure. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true
believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.
John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6 & 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1

About the Church
A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by their common faith and fellowship with Jesus. A local church is to observe the two ordinances: (1) baptism (immersion) and (2) the Lord’s Supper. The church should exercise their God-given gifts and extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. The church is an autonomous body serving under the Lordship of Christ.
Romans 12:14-15, Colossians 1:18, 1 Corinthians 1:10, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31

About Marriage
We believe that marriage is between a biological man and a biological woman in a monogamous relationship.
Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31, Matthew 19:5
